4 The Win

​"4 the Win" is a dramatic short intended to demonstrate elements of basic filmmaking through a game of Connect 4. A classic three-act structure enhanced with varying camera angles which are used to elevate a typically mundane situation.

Filmed in a single location over the course of a day, this production was a combination of considerate planning and day-of decisions. The video was then edited in Final Cut Pro. This setting and situation was chosen to represent different techniques and be done within a limited production schedule. The highlight of this film is the climax. From the dolly zoom shot to the choice of music I am satisfied with how that sequence turned out.
